Samsung Semiconductor Europe award to ASBISc

ASBISc Enterprises Ltd., a leading supplier of computer components to the EMEA region’s emerging markets, has been awarded the title of ‘The Fastest Growing Distributor of Samsung Semiconductor’s TFT-LCD modules’ in Europe, Middle East and Africa in the year 2003. The award has been officially handed over at Samsung’s annual dealers’ conference held in Prague. ASBISc Enterprises has also been selected as Samsung Semiconductor’s strategic partner for the year 2004 in TFT module segment (main component of TFT-LCD monitors).

LITE-ON IT CORP. releases its latest ATAPI / E-IDE 12X DVD Dual Drive with all of the fastest DVD recordable media support: SOHW-1213S. This DVD Dual Drive is able to write DVD+R at 12X maximum & DVD-R media at 8X maximum, rewrite DVD+RW & DVD-RW media at 4X, and read DVD-ROM media at 12X maximum. It takes around 7.5 minutes to backup 4.7 GB data on a certified DVD+R media at 12X.

This is not the first Lite-On drive I used or owned, I have always been a big fan of Lite-On since the early days of the ever popular CD-RW 24x Lite-On and then onto the CD-RW 40x which was overclocked to 48x write using a firmware hack, and now I have a Lite-On 16x DVD-Rom, what made me keep coming back to Lite-On was the performance and value for money."
