ASBIS has signed an Authorized Distributorship Contract with Taiwan-based Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd., one of the world's largest manufacturers of PC assemblies and motherboards and the largest manufacturer of PC connectors and enclosures. According to the agreement signed at ASBIS’ head office in Cyprus, the company is now authorized to distribute all products bearing the Foxconn brand including motherboards, chassis, and coolers.

According to the results of the recent Bulgarian IT market report ICT Survey ‘04 performed by the independent research agency CBN, ASBIS Bulgaria has been named the Best IT Distributor in the country in 2004. The recent comprehensive audit performed by the independent agency BVQI at Prestigio’s manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic has confirmed their full compliance with the rigorous ISO 9001:2000 quality standard by issuing an official certificate. The now certified manufacturing facilities are based near Prague, the Czech capital. They are involved in assembly and final configuring of Prestigio’s mobile computers (Cavaliere 143, Visconte 120, Nobile 156, Nobile 157 and Nobile 158W).
