April 8, 2014, Limassol (Cyprus) – ASBISC Enterprises PLC (WSE: ASB), an expert in the distribution of Information and Communications Technology products and solutions in EMEA emerging markets, has agreed the deal with BlackBerry Limited (NASDAQ: BBRY; TSX: BB), a global leader in mobile communications, to distribute BlackBerry’s handhelds and software on the territory of thirteen countries of Former Soviet Union and Baltic.
Thereafter, BlackBerry’s mobile devices powered by BB10 operating system and BlackBerry® Enterprise Server 10 (BES10) software to be available to ASBIS customers in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

As part of the mutual agreement ASBIS is working with BlackBerry and its appointed local sub-distribution partners to deliver the effective local support needed to ensure the best end user experience. ASBIS is the distributor that BlackBerry focusses on and entrusts the supply of Handhelds and Software on behalf of BlackBerry.
