This opening marks the first step in the ambitious expansion strategy for Bang & Olufsen in California. In 2026, the Group plans to open and manage additional stores of this brand in Los Angeles and Palo Alto.ASBIS, through its wholly owned ASBC unit, runs 41 premium and luxury monobrand retail stores in 11 countries. This includes 33 Apple Premium Reseller stores across seven countries (iSpace) and 6 Bang & Olufsen showrooms in five countries – Cyprus, South Africa, Georgia, Italy, and now in the USA.

The newly opened Bang & Olufsen store in San Francisco spans two levels and 460 m². Located at the prestigious address of 146 Geary Street, in the heart of Union Square, it sits within the city’s prime luxury shopping district alongside brands such as Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Chanel, Tiffany & Co., and many more.

The space has been designed to be immersive, luxurious, and deeply personal, allowing visitors to explore dedicated listening and viewing zones showcasing a wide range of Bang & Olufsen products. Listening areas have been carefully arranged with vintage artworks, contemporary furniture, and fully integrated sound systems, so that customers can experience the products as if they were in their own living rooms.
The store highlights Bang & Olufsen’s Scandinavian roots and 100-year design heritage, while also reflecting the local architectural context. Designed by Bang & Olufsen’s in-house team, the store features the brand’s signature aluminum finishes and wooden accents, with a subtle reference to the shape of the moon found in the company’s logo.
Multiple key attractions are accommodated in the flagship store in San Francisco:
B&O Atelier – a high-end customization service allowing customers to personalize iconic audio products with unique materials, colours, and finishes, bridging technology and design for bespoke audio solutions that perfectly match individual style and interiors.
B&O Lifestyle – luxury fashion products and consumer electronic accessories launched by Bang and Olufsen in November 2025.
A personalization lab where guests can transform headphones and speakers into unique keepsakes with precisely laser-engraved monograms, messages, or dates.
The San Francisco flagship also hosts the launch of the first three of five worldwide unique Belolab 90 loudspeakers created by Bang & Olufsen’s Atelier to mark the brand’s centenary.
