BlackBerry Z3 smartphone

November 18, 2014, Limassol (Cyprus) – ASBISC Enterprises PLC (WSE: ASB), an expert in the distribution of Information and Communications Technology products and solutions in EMEA emerging markets, extends its BlackBerry portfolio with the new Z3 smartphone.

Featuring BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.2.1, the new all-touch BlackBerry Z3 smartphone comes with a beautiful 5” display and a long lasting battery. It is designed for the next generation customers and offering them connectivity on-the-go along with best smartphone experience.

BlackBerry kicked off successful sales of this model in Indonesia in May of this year. The choice of the country was not by accident, as BlackBerry's market share was around 14% in 2013 according to IDC. As this pilot project turned out to be successful, BlackBerry widens Z3 sales territories and comes to our regions.

“We are excited to introduce the new BlackBerry Z3, the first smartphone to emerge from our strategic partnership with Foxconn, which was announced in mid-December, 2013,” said John Chen, Executive Chairman and CEO at BlackBerry. “The BlackBerry Z3 embodies all that BlackBerry 10 offers, with its exceptional productivity features and reliable communications, in a stylish, all-touch design made affordable for customers.”

“We are very glad that Z3 has been released, as it came to replace the bestseller Z10. This new model absolutely answers to modern market requirements, which goes for smartphones screen size increase. BlackBerry Z3 is presented in a low price segment of the famous global brand, which allows ASBIS to meet the requirements of all our customers”, said Anna Kiyavina, BlackBerry Product Line Manager at ASBIS.

The new BlackBerry Z3 smartphone is based on the latest BlackBerry 10 OS, version 10.2.1, that will make the things one does every day faster and easier. Key features include: BlackBerry® Hub, BBM, BlackBerry Keyboard, Time Shift & Story Maker (camera function), BlackBerry 10 Browser, Instant Previews & Reply Now, Fast, Easy Sharing and FM Radio.
