ASBIS enters the Green Energy segment
ASBIS Group (WSE: ASB) – a leading Value Add Distributor, developer, and provider of ICT, IoT products, solutions, and services to the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), launched the Green Energy Solutions segment and expanded its portfolio to include green energy products, supporting the development of renewable energy sources in its markets. The Group began selling photovoltaic modules, photovoltaic inverters, and BESS energy storage systems and EV chargers.
The first country in which ASBIS sells these products is Hungary, which in 2023 was among the 10 countries with the highest level of installation of solar energy products in CEE region. The Group is planning to start introducing Green Energy products to the part of CEE region, UAE, South Africa & Caucasus during next 6 months.
ASBIS’s current portfolio includes products from companies such as SOFAR, SolaX, Sungrow, Pylontech, Deye, BYD, Axitec, Huawei, Trina Solar, JA Solar and Fronius.In addition to providing solutions, ASBIS also acts as a vital link between end users and product manufacturers, offering integrated solar solutions. The company offers extensive technical support and European warranties to simplify customers’ transition to sustainable energy. ASBIS also intends to launch an installer partner program, offering local training sessions to enhance installer skills and expand their business.
The market value of solar energy systems in Europe in 2023 was approximately USD 23 billion, and is expected to reach approximately USD 64.5 billion by 2031.
