May 31, 2016, Limassol (Cyprus) – ASBISC Enterprises PLC (WSE: ASB), an expert in the distribution of Information and Communications Technology products and solutions in EMEA emerging markets, has been announced the official distributor of AMD FirePro professional graphics across the EMEA region.
AMD has announced the decision to invest more resources into its AMD FirePro professional graphics demand generation engine and work to increase efficiencies in delivery by focusing on a "Direct-distribution" model beginning from May 2016. Sapphire remains a valued AMD Partner in the AMD Radeon™ graphics series.
By moving the AMD FirePro product into the “Direct-distribution” model and targeted key regional partners, AMD will reduce complexity and increase support by integrating its other logistics and marketing generation efforts where other AMD products are sold.
ASBIS was named among the three official distributors of AMD FirePro professional graphics across the EMEA region.
“We are ready to meet new challenge and opportunities ensured by the AMD’s "Direct-distribution" model and maintain FirePro graphics supply at a proper level for benefit of all parties involved. Purchase conditions for ASBIS customers remain the same, whilst SKU (OPN) will be changed from Sapphire SKU to AMD SKU,” said Marketing Product Line Manager at ASBIS Enterprises PLC Alexander Mikula.
